Landlord Letting Fees Explained…

Home Estate Agents offer two letting services; a let only service or full property management.

A finder’s fee of £474.00 is charged on our let only service.

A finder's fee of £354.00 is charged on our managed service, in addition to a commission of 12%. A reduced finder's fee of £118.80 is charged if a new tenant has to be found within twelve months of the full fee having been paid.

All fees are inclusive of VAT at 20% and discounts may apply where landlords have multiple properties.

Landlords will require a valid Energy Performance Certificate (this is needed or must be ordered prior to the property being marketed). We are able to arrange this at a cost of £72.00.

If there are gas appliances at the property, a Gas Safety Certificate is also required, prior to a tenancy commencing. We are able to arrange this at a cost of £75.00.

Home Estate Agents do NOT charge any other fees, including renewal fees, administration fees for arranging maintenance work, nor do we charge contractors a commission for providing them with work.
